I was the recipient of the Heritage Award on August 19th at the Le Cajun Awards Show by the Cajun French Music Association for outstanding contributions and dedication to the preservation of our Cajun culture 2011. I am very honored to have received this award and I will continue to represent our culture with pride and dignity. Thank you to the CFMA, my band, all of our fans and friends and thank you dear Lord God for your wonderful gift of music! Life is wonderful!
