It's exactly the same for the dance awards. Nobody, except people attending the festival, knows about Cajun & Zydeco music and dances They say : Zydeco? What a strange name. What's that ?
Somebody even told me in French : C'est quoi la danse du "zigoto"? "Zigoto" in French means weirdo. I know that we are crazy about Zydeco, but we are not weirdo (lol).
